Morotsresan was a redesign of the existing Kaninscenen ride. Using the existing boats, buildings and layout we created a new story surrounding the Liseberg rabbits vegetable garden and worked with manufacturers to create all new props, signs and redress the existing boats. The new story works well in Kaninlandet explaining the long existing idea that all the attractions in Kaninlandet are powered by vegetable juice. It also tied in well with the new dark ride, Underlandet, that also debuted in the same year, with the final scene taking you down into underlandet where the vegetable juice was being used to power the karts.
